T-PEP: A STUDY OF AN INTERACTIVE ONLINE PATIENT PORTAL LEARNING PROGRAM – Completed Fall 2017

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY?

The purpose of this study is to measure the impact of an online learning program on helping older adults navigate computer-based patient portals (secure websites where you can review your health records and send emails to your doctors).

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

Individuals who are 55 or older who have one diagnosed chronic health condition.

WHAT DO THEY NEED TO DO?

1. Call the Integrace Institute at 410-552-3218 to be screened for the study.
2. Complete online surveys and trainings as part of the study for 4 months.

WHO IS FUNDING THE STUDY?

The study is funded by the Agency for Research and Healthcare Quality in partnership with the University of Maryland, School of Nursing.
