Imaging Dementia: Evidence for Amyloid Scanning (IDEAS) – Completed Fall 2017

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS STUDY?

To examine how brain imaging can guide doctors to more effectively treat mild cognitive impairment.

WHO IS ELIGIBILE?

Individuals 65 years or older, diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment or dementia, and have Medicare as their primary medical coverage.

WHAT DO THEY NEED TO DO?

1. Schedule a screening appointment.
· On the Eastern Shore, call the Samuel and Alexia Bratton Memory Clinic, at 410-820-5191.
· In the Baltimore area, call the Proxmire Memory Clinic, at 410-552-3211.
2. Working with the clinic team, get a PET scan appointment within 30 days.
